A credit card guarantee is required to hold your reservation, however, the hotel will not charge the card if cancellations are made more than 72 hours prior to arrival. Hotel check-in is 4 p.m., and check-out is Noon.

Attire and Climate
Cancun’s average high in April/May is 87° Fahrenheit (30° Celsius), with an average low of 74° Fahrenheit (23° Celsius). Attire for the conference is business casual. Because people have varying sensitivities to temperatures in hotel meeting rooms, bring a sweater or other warm clothing to wear inside the hotel.

Car Rental
Avis is the official car rental service for the AED 2009 ICED. Avis agents can provide the best available rates for your transportation needs during your stay. Rentals may occur at Cancun, Mexico locations including airport, downtown or suburban locations. An advance reservation is recommended. A passport is required along with valid driver’s license for non-Mexican residents.

Airport Transportation
The JW Marriott Cancun Resort & Spa and the CasaMagna Marriott Cancun Resort is approximately 25 minutes by car from the Cancun International Airport. Taxi fare is approximately $55 each way.

JW Marriott Cancun Resort and CasaMagna Cancun Resort provide shuttle transfers from the airport directly to the two Marriott resorts through Prestige Group. Cost is $14 one-way, per person. Registrations need to be made 24 hours in advance and cancellations need to be done 24 hours in advance to avoid a 50% charge per person.
