2009 ICED Refund Policy
AED Registration Fees
AED will provide full registration fee refunds to all who request them. An e-mail will be sent to everyone who registered for the conference. Refunds will then be issued within 4-6 weeks of the form being filled out. You will also have the option of donating your registration fee back to the AED. Many members have already made this generous offer to help offset losses on the ICED.

If our insurance claim is 100% successful, we anticipate losses of about $49,000 related to the conference cancellation. If the claim is not paid in full, AED will be up to $300,000 in the red. Because of these budgetary uncertainties, AED is engaged in cost cutting measures and is seeking donations from conference sponsors, as well as from members. If our insurance claim is successful, across the year, we would hope to realize some savings by managing and reducing other expenses and draw close to even. Thus, whatever the outcome if the insurance claim, all donations will be extremely valuable in helping AED move forward.
Exhibitors and Supporters
AED will provide refunds to exhibitors and supporters. Members of AED’s Development Committee will contact you to discuss details. Exhibitors and supporters will also have the option of donating to the AED.
